We charge $160 for a three-chapter book proposal not to exceed 40 pages. Double-space your manuscript. Use 12-point Times New Roman font and the set margins on your computer. The proposal includes your cover letter and chapter-by-chapter synopsis for nonfiction books or a running synopsis for novels. You should also do a comparative analysis, comparing your books to others that are available today.

If you’d like us to edit your entire book, you can usually figure $4.00 a double-spaced page if the editing isn’t too extensive. About half our customers have us edit their entire books. Normal turnaround time is four to six weeks.

You can send your manuscript electronically as an attachment to the editor who will do the critique, and it will be critiqued with tracking changes. But first, I will need to know a little bit about your manuscript in order to assign it to one of my staff. Payment must be received before we begin work. You can pay by Pay Pal, www.paypal.com, with your credit card or electronic check using our email address, Susanosb@aol.com.Or if you prefer send your check to: Christian Communicator, 3133 Puente Street, Fullerton CA 92835.

Here’s what some experts are saying about our critique service:

“If you need any kind of editorial help, you won’t find a more reliable provider than the Christian Communicator Manuscript Critique Service. After 25 years of working with Susan Titus Osborn and her crew, I never hesitate to recommend them. None of those referrals has ever come back to me with anything but the highest praise for their careful and professional work.”

“After a number of rejections on my first novel, I submitted the manuscript to The Christian Communicator Manuscript Critique Service. Susan Osborn pinpointed my major writing problems in a gentle, yet candid manner, as well as highlighted my strong qualities. I learned from the critique, and the book, Seasons, became my first fiction sale. Today, I am an award-winning author with 52 published novels and nearly four million books in print, and am the author of Writers Digest book, Writing The Christian Romance. I teach writing fiction at workshops conferences across the U.S. I continue to use and teach the excellent advice from that critique.”

“One of the best investments I ever made! Having no other teacher than your excellent editing suggestions, I rewrote my first manuscript and was published the same year. It has been an exciting road, and I couldn’t have done it alone! I am now a Christy Award winner and a best-selling author of eight stand-alone novels and the “Claire McCall Series.”

For the writer serious about becoming published, one of the best things you can do is have a professional critique your work. The Christian Communicator Manuscript Critique Service gave me suggestions on my first novel, and I believe this helped me get my foot in the door.”
